I don't know where I come from. The first memory I have is when I was about 8, I was on the streets of Nal Hutta. You probably know that Nal Hutta is a very dangerous place. I wandered the streets for days, hungry, tired, and scared. Finally, someone found me.

Vance Tessia, my dad. He isn't my real dad, but I will always think of him as that. He was a TIE pilot in the Imperial Navy. He brought me back to the barracks and was allowed to keep me with him during his tour of duty. I lived with him for nine years. He taught me many things. Field survival, how to detach my mind from my body, how to withstand extreme pain and torture. And he loved me.

I lived with Vance for 5 years. He taught me the basics of military actions and how to take care of myself. He brought me up as if I was his own child. I'm very lucky that I was even able to stay with him. Vance was stationed on the VSD Striker, leader of Omicron Squadron. He went to CP Andross, Captain of the Striker back then, and asked permission to care for me on the ship. CP Andross agreed and allowed me to stay as long as I was helpful and stayed out of the way during crisis situations. Vance and I were happy during those times.

I can still remember the day that I lost Vance. Vance was out on patrol with his squadron and suddenly a band of pirates in Z-95 Headhunters ambushed them. Vance and Omicron fought bravely, but they were overpowered and destroyed. Vance had 4 kills before he was blasted into dust. On that day I vowed that I would avenge my father and destroy the pirates who were responsible for his death. I submitted my application for the Cadata Academy that very day.

Cardata was hell from day one. Being an officer was essentially easy, from what I'd seen. Getting there is another story. 4 years of never sleeping in. Constant exercising, drills, simulations, and tests. 16 cadets washed out of my class alone. But, I used what Vance had taught me and pushed myself as hard as I could. I graduated third in my class.

After graduation, I was sent to GA Daemon's sector group. I had requested Omicron Squadron, but I was placed in Kappa instead. A little disappointing, but good nonetheless. My CO was then LT "Agony" McDougall. We became acquaintances, but not great friends. I was always active and doing stuff on the ship. I received a [MoM] because of it, and was sought after to be promoted to other squadrons, but I stayed in Kappa. Soon one of the SL's moved out, so I took up his place as Kappa 3-1. A little while after my promotion, LT McDougall was promoted and my good friend Jack Pavz was chosen to take his place.

Jack and I shared a room at the Academy, and we both were very close; but he had graduated a year before me. I was very ecstatic that he received the promotion and that I would be serving under him. I stayed in Kappa for a while, then decided to continue my career by applying for another squadron.

When I decided this, there were 2 squadrons without LT's Alpha and Gamma. I choose Alpha for some reason, and I was chosen within days of applying. Now I have stayed in Alpha, always training, and trying to get my wingmates more active. I keep honing my skills and waiting for the day I can avenge Vance.
